Care & Sizing

Caring for your jewellery

Moissanite is one of the hardest gemstones on earth, and with a little care your piece will stay brilliant for a lifetime. Here's how to keep it looking its best.

Keep it dry

Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or washing up. Chlorine, salt water and soaps can dull the metal and finish over time.

Last on, first off

Put your piece on after perfume, lotion and hairspray — and take it off first at night. Cosmetics and oils are the quickest way to cloud a stone.

Gentle cleaning

Restore sparkle with a soft polishing cloth, or a soft brush with warm water and a drop of mild soap. Rinse and pat dry with a lint-free cloth.

Store separately

Keep each piece in its Manihar pouch or a lined box, away from other jewellery, to prevent scratches and tangles.

Finding your size

Rings — wrap a strip of paper around the base of your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure the length in millimetres; that's your circumference. If you're between sizes, size up. Unsure? Message us on WhatsApp and we will help.

Bracelets — measure your wrist snugly with a tape or paper strip. Add roughly 1.5–2 cm for a comfortable fit. Our sizing covers most wrists, and we're happy to adjust the length on request.

A note on moissanite

Set in 925 sterling silver and 18K gold vermeil, every centre stone above 5mm (1 carat and up) is GRA certified. Vermeil is a genuine layer of gold over solid silver — treat it gently and it will keep its warm glow for years.
