Certification
What GRA Certification Means
Every moissanite stone that leaves our workshop is independently graded before it is ever set into a ring, pendant, bracelet or pair of earrings. The gemstone is examined under controlled lighting and magnification and assessed against four criteria: cut precision, carat weight, colour grade and clarity. The result is recorded on a GRA certification report that ships with your piece, so you have documented proof of exactly what you're wearing.
Why We Certify Every Stone
Moissanite is graded on many of the same criteria used for diamonds, but because it is a distinct mineral with its own optical properties, it deserves its own honest paperwork rather than being compared loosely to a diamond grading report. We believe a fine jewellery purchase should never require blind trust, so certification isn't an upsell for us — it is included with every stone, every time, at no extra cost.
How to Read Your Certificate
Your certificate will list the shape of the stone (round, oval, emerald, pear, marquise or baguette), its measured dimensions, estimated carat weight, colour grade and clarity grade, along with a unique report number you can reference if you ever contact us about the piece. Keep the certificate somewhere safe — it travels with the jewellery for insurance, resale, or simply your own peace of mind.
Crafted and Checked in Jaipur
Jaipur has been one of India's principal centres for gemstone cutting and fine jewellery-making for generations, and every Manihar Gems piece is hand-finished by artisans working in that tradition. Before a piece ships, it passes a final quality check for stone security, metal finish and clasp or closure strength, in addition to the gemological grading described above.
